3 weeks of paid vacation (2 of family's choosing around holidays/kid's spring break, 1 of nanny's).

You are a kind, engaging nanny who truly loves what you do and is capable of providing a calm, focused presence for baby.
Communication is a strength for you, and you are comfortable speaking with both parents regularly, as they both work remotely from the home.
You are creative, and excited to come up with daily activities, music play, explorations and games for the infant in your care.
You enjoy staying active throughout the day and are willing to ensure that baby is playing and learning as they grow.
You are comfortable encouraging independence (this family leans towards the Montessori method of allowing children to learn and discover on their own sometimes); you are kind and loving, and you enjoy spending time outside when weather permits.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license (family will provide a car for work use if needed.
Minimal driving, if any).
Willing to obtain the flu shot annually COVID vaccination Infant experience Important to Note:
This family has three children in total (ages:
newborn, 2 and 4 years old).
The 2 and 4 year old are enrolled in full days of school.
On most occasions if a child is home sick or school is not in session, the parents will be responsible for their care.
However, if the family needs you to share responsibility, additional hourly pay will be provided up to $5/hour depending on circumstances.
Responsibilities:
This child-focused family is seeking someone who will put their efforts completely towards the care of their newborn.
Baby is very happy, calm, curious, exploratory, and loves playing with toys/reading books.
This wonderful and kind family believes that the child's nap time is your (nanny's) time to relax and re-energize, so that you can be completely engaged when baby wakes up.
Standard infant care (diapers, baths if needed, bottle prep) Help with introduction of solid foods each day (parents will prepare the food; your job will be to give it to baby) Tidying up high chair and rinsing dishes after feeding child Talk and sing with baby throughout the day to encourage communication Encourage independence while supporting child at all times (familiarity with Montessori Method or willingness to learn more about it a plus!) Plan and participate in age appropriate activities (no screen time, ever) Comfortable spending time outdoors with child Put away child's toys at the end of the day Job Type:
